MuMoExplore employs critical pedagogy of place and leverages the affordances of multimodal digital technology to support young children’s literacy and science learning. The app includes (1) MuMoExplore curricular materials and pedagogical practices in the form of a teacher guide based on the critical pedagogy of place framework; and (2) digital materials/tools such as an interactive digital book and inquiry tools that support implementation and learning.
